A now-deleted Roll20 post appears to have leaked an upcoming crossover between Dungeons & Dragons and World of Warcraft ahead of Gen Con 2026. According to the report, the project would include at least one World of Warcraft setting book for D&D 5th Edition, following the same broad format Wizards of the Coast has used for other crossover worlds.

The timing lines up with Wizards of the Coast’s Gen Con plans, which include a D&D Vision Keynote hosted by Baldur’s Gate 3 actor Theo Solomon on Thursday, July 30. The official D&D site says the presentation will include roadmap reveals, first looks, special guests, and other announcements tied to the future of the game.

If the leak is accurate, it would not be the first time the two franchises have crossed paths. Previous Blizzard and D&D collaborations have included earlier tabletop adaptations tied to Diablo and World of Warcraft, though those releases took different forms and were handled under different licensing arrangements.

Gen Con 2026 runs from July 30 through August 2, so the leak may be confirmed or clarified when Wizards of the Coast takes the stage later this week.
