Orb of Creation starts with a pretty simple idea: you wake up in a dark void, and the only thing in front of you is a glowing orb. That's it. No world, no resources, and apparently no one around to explain what you're supposed to do.
Your job is to start creating things from nothing. By casting spells, you can generate resources, unlock upgrades, and gradually gain access to more magical abilities. As you progress, the number of things you can create and upgrade keeps growing, turning what looks like a very simple game at first into a surprisingly deep system of resources and magic.
The interesting part is that you're not just sitting there waiting for numbers to go up. You need to figure out which spells to use, what to upgrade, and how different resources and bonuses work together. The more you play, the more the game gives you to experiment with, and sometimes finding a better combination can feel almost like solving a little puzzle.
The pixel-art style also fits the game surprisingly well. Everything is fairly simple, but the dark background, glowing elements, and old-school interface give it a nice little magical atmosphere.
If you enjoy incremental games but want something with a bit more to think about than simply watching numbers increase, Orb of Creation is definitely worth checking out. You start with almost nothing, and somehow end up trying to figure out how to become an all-powerful wizard. Not a bad way to spend some time.
